Raised in East Palo Alto, California, Luis Cruz, known by his artistic name Krits, has nurtured a dream of becoming one of the few individuals to find success emerging from his city since the young age of 16. Growing up in a challenging environment, he possesses a determination to achieve his goals. Krits first ventured into the world of music through beat-making, notably creating the first beat for New York’s Legendary artist Pop Smoke, track “GQ.” Krits has primarily produced music for UK and NY drill rappers, establishing himself within the genre. He has then shifted his artistic focus towards rap-influenced lifestyle photography & cinematography, as he wanted to cultivate a more active and immersive experience in his creative pursuits.

krits began his creative journey by photographing talented artists in the Bay Area. His passion for capturing their unique expressions & lifestyles motivated him to explore different artistic scenes. This valuable experience significantly improved his skills & provided him with a deeper understanding of the creative process. THis journey took him across the country to cities like Los Angeles, Las vegas, Atlanta, new york, Texas, Miami & london, where he expanded his portfolio and developed his craft. Luis is now looking for new opportunities & is determined to achieving his creative goals while exploring innovative ideas & expanding his artistic boundaries.
