Raised in East Palo Alto, California, Luis Cruz, known by his artistic name Krits, has nurtured a dream of becoming one of the few individuals to find success emerging from his city since the young age of 16. Growing up in a challenging environment, he possesses a fierce determination to achieve his goals. Krits first ventured into the world of music through beat-making, notably creating the first beat for the legendary New York artist Pop Smoke's track “GQ.” He has primarily produced music for UK and NY drill rappers, establishing himself within the genre. He has then shifted his artistic focus towards rap-influenced photography and cinematography, as he wanted to cultivate a more active and immersive experience in his creative pursuits.

krits began his creative journey by photographing talented artists in the Bay Area. His passion for capturing their unique expressions and lifestyles motivated him to explore different artistic scenes. This valuable experience significantly improved his skills and provided him with a deeper understanding of the creative process, effectively preparing him for the challenges and opportunities that were to come in the future. His journey took him across the country to cities like Los Angeles, Atlanta, new york, Texas, and Miami, where he expanded his portfolio and developed his craft. Luis is now looking for new opportunities and is determined to achieving his creative goals while exploring innovative ideas and expanding his artistic boundaries.
